Chair’s Challenge 2016
Each year, the Chair sets a challenge for members to complete and present back in a year’s time. This year’s challenge is “complementary colours” and the results will be presented at our Guild Day in June 2017.
The Challenge is as follows:
Pick any two colours that are opposite each other on the colour wheel and work them into a piece of work, which should include at least one of our core skills of weaving, spinning or dyeing.
- You may use additional colours, as long as the complementary colours are predominant.
- You may use multiple pairs of complementary colours provided they are adjacent to one another.
